tenfold 26.0 Adds New Access Review Triggers and Event Auditing Filters

Regular access reviews help you identify unnecessary privileges that put sensitive data at risk. But what if there are major changes outside of your normal audit schedule? To ensure that all user access is reviewed at the appropriate time, tenfold now allows you to tie access reviews to events such as department or lifecycle changes.

Event-based Access Reviews

In addition to access reviews that follow a preset schedule (such as monthly or quarterly), tenfold now offers event-based access reviews that trigger whenever a predefined condition is met. For example, this allows you to review a user’s access whenever they move to a different department or their lifecycle phase changes.

Auditing user access directly after organizational changes means inappropriate access rights are caught straight away – without needing to wait for the next scheduled review. Combining time-based and event-based reviews ensures event tighter control over user privileges.

Create, Save & Share Event Auditing Filters

Our event auditing feature continues to grow: Version 26.0 adds support for over 20 new event types focused on password changes, group policy and Kerberos authentication.

More importantly, tenfold 26.0 now includes the ability to save and share event queries, giving you quick access to frequently used filters such as failed logins. You can also share saved queries with other tenfold admins, making them a valuable tool for your entire IT team. This makes auditing events even easier than before.

Improved Data Owner Administration

Data owners in tenfold can now directly grant application privileges without the need for a user request, bringing them in line with other resource types. To help manage data owners across your organization, a new export feature and search filters for the data owner overview within tenfold quickly show who has been assigned to which resource.
